Laura Junod

I have lived along the California coast my entire life and am proud to be a 4th generation Californian....my great-grandmother was born in San Francisco in 1864! I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in a sailboat-racing family, so I spent a lot of time on boats of all types on the Bay. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and then spent the majority of my career as a successful residential mortgage consultant. In this role, I had the opportunity to assist hundreds of clients reach their dream of home ownership in California. In 2018, I followed my longtime dream of working in the travel industry and became certified as a Tour Director and Guide. I can describe my overall experience being a Tour Guide as "Best. Job. Ever!" Since that time, I have created and led popular walking and wine-tasting tours in California, as well as in France. I have a particular interest in France as I have traveled there extensively over the years and spend as much time as possible there when I am not in California. I am continually in a project of improving my French language skills! In my spare time, I enjoy hiking along the coast, mountains and lakes of California, and spending time outdoors with my husband and two sons.
